REDUCTION OF IMPORTS UNITED STATES AND ARGENTINA LONDON. Sept. 5 The Sun news service says it learns that the British Government has restricted the imports of pork and pork products from the "United States and Argentina to a quantity 40 per cent below the imports of the first six months of 1934. The quota applies retrospectively from July 1 to December 31, but does not include bacon. All pork values consequently haVe risen 15 to 20 per cent. It is understood that the Government, in conjunction with the regulation of other meats, is negotiating with Australia and NewZealand for reduction of their exports.
