BOBBY CALVES
Sir, —I-' quite agree with "Farmer's Wife" re the price of calves. It is absolutely shocking. For instance, a 601b. calf will give 301b. of veal boned, which is 480oz. of flesh. With the addition of a few pork rinds and pork bones and a little flavouring, the pork rinds and bones boiled to make tho jelly, the above flesh is enough to make 200 pork pios, i.e., 16s Bd.
