GUILTY OF FRAUD

GAOL FOR DIRECTORS BONDS AND SHARES SOLD MELBOURNE, August 24 Walter James Mo%m and Ralph Hamilton Lane, company directors, were found guilty to-day of having conspired to defraud such persons as might have been induced to purchase bonds or shares in the Dominion Tobacco Corporation of Australia. Each was sentenced to three years' imprisonment. It was- stated at the trial that the public subscribed more than £16,000 to the company, and most of the money was received by Moran, Lane and another man.
