WEDDING

PATTISON—GRIMES . The Somervell Memorial Church, Remuera, was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Wednesday evening when Gretta, only daughter of Mrs. E. A. Grimes, of Mount Albert, and the late W. J. Grimes, of Bristol, England, was married to Mavklim Alexander, younger son of the Rev. and Mrs. J. Pattison, of Pukekohe. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, -Mr. G. J. Maloney, looked charming in a long-sleeved trained gown of faintly tinted delustered satin. Her net veil was held in place by clusters of orange blossom and she carried a sheaf of rosebuds. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Elsie Adamson, wearing delphinium blue embroidered organdie and carrying a sheaf of grape hyacinths, and Miss Patricia Pattison, in primrose organdie with a sheaf of freesias. The best man was Mr. C. Evans and Mr. R. Grimes was groomsman. The reception was held at the Domain Kiosk, whero Mrs. Grimes received tho guests wearing Lido blue Ottoman silk. The bridegroom's mother wore brown and fawn figured marocain.
