MONEY TO CLOTHE BABY An admission that she hud stolen £'6 for the purpose of buying babies' clothes was made in the Police Court yesterday on behalf of a young married woman. Senior-Detective Hall said accused had admitted going to a room occupied by complainant and stealing the money from ner bng. Mr. Aekins said accused, who was only 18 years of age, was the wife of a relief worker. In asking the magistrate to accused another chance, counsel said her husband was prepared to make full restitution. The magistrate adjourned the case for one month to allow restitution to be made. Accused's name was suppressed.
