BIENNIAL ELECTIONS The biennial election of commissioners for town districts has been fixed to take place on Wednesday, September 19. The rolls of electors will close exactly a fortnight before that, and in most cases nominations of candidates are required to lie in the hands of the returning officer not later than noon on Thursday, September 6. In tho case of the Papatoetoe Town Board, however, nominations will bo received up to noon on September 7. Tho rolls of the various districts are now open for inspection by ratepayers and residents.
