YIELDS OF COMPANIES Worksop Extended Gold Dredging (Otago).—23oz. for 151 hours. Addisons Flat (West Coast).—for fortnight ended 36 shifts. The manager reports that he has been working on poorer ground, making a fresh cut up on to the lead from tho elevator. BULOLO DREDGING DEPTHS A report upon deep dredging operations has been issued by Bulolo Dredging, Limited (New Guinea). The company states that while perhaps six months more of drilling will be required to determine the commercial dredging depths, the drilling results so far indicate that the upper half of the Bulolo area will bo dredged to between 60ft. and 120 ft., and that the recoverable value below tlif originally contemplated bottom, at 22ft., will be between 25 cents and 40 cents a yard, with gold at 35 dollars an ounce '(.about "is to Is 8d sterling), dependent in a measure on the dredging depth _ finally decided upon.'After the testing is completed drilling will be continued on tho lower half of tho original Bulolo area, and on an extensive contiguous area to the west. It is expected that the 4000 liorse-power hydro-electric plant will be completed in November, REPORTS OF MANAGERS Mataki (Murchison). —During tho week the average depth was 16ft. on a face of 550 ft. Owing to the flooded state of the river it was found necessary to work in tho bank the whole of the week after Monday, and we. now have solid ground right across the bank cut, although 50ft. of the inside is still covered by tailings.
