CRUISE OF THE MARAMA

After cruising to Fiji, Samoa and Tonga with over 2-10 excursionists,, the Marama left Nukualofa, longa, for Auckland at six o'clock yesterday morning. She is due on Wednesday morning, and on Friday afternoon she will be despatched for Sydney. The Marama reached Vavau from Apia on Friday morning and passengers were landed at Nciafu, at the entrance to Vavau Harbour, to visit the native town and plantations. Passengers were later taken by launch to an island beach for bathing and luncheon. In the afternoon, near by famous eaves were viiited. These are most spectacular and wore regarded as one of the best places visited during the cruise. On I'riday evening the vessel left for Nukualofa, and remained in port for about 24 hours.
