THE NEXT GATHERING The council of the United Christian Convention, formerly known as the Cambridge Convention, mot at tho rooms of the Bible Training Institute this week. It was decided to hold tho next meeting of the convention from December 27, until January 13, the time being slightly later than last year. The meeting will be held, if possible, at Ngaruawahia. All executive committee was set up. with Mr. 13. Hercus as chairman, which will submit the names of special speakers for tho convention to the council. A report was received from tho llev. E. Harries, former president, as to convention methods in Canada The financial report of the last convention, which was held at Takapuna, was presented by Mr. Hercus, tnd showed a small deficit. The Rev. J. P. A. Stimpson was appointed president and Mr. H. Yolland. secretary.
