TWENTY POUNDS AT BIRTH [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE. Wednesday A Southdown ewe on the farm of Mr. A. P. Robinson, of Roto-o-rangi, gave birth recently to a lamb weighing 201b. Although weak on its legs for the first day or two, the lamb has gained strength. On a Whitehall farm this season two lambs, weighing 12Jib. and 141b. respectively, were born, but died soon after birth. The average newly-born lamb weighs from 51b. to 81b
