HOSPITAL CONCERT

The weekly hospital concert organised by Mr. Neville Carlsea was held on Alonday in Ward 26 of the Auckland Hospital before a large audience of patients, nurses and staff. A jazz band rendered several popular numbers besides assisting in the accompaniments of the other performers. The programme was a varied one and met with warm approval. The following contributed items:—Misses Clarice Palmer, Sylvia Poynter, Joan Power, Elma Wilson, Messrs Alf Bruns, Les Hallas, Jack Riley, Emmett McMahon, Alf Steniaford, Neville McCarthy and George and Neville Carlsen.
