Acting on tho suggestion of Archbishop Averill, church people at Waimate North liavo obtained ;i brass memorial tablet to be placed on tho outside wall of the old church 011 the north side, to mark tho spot where tho great open-air communion service was held at the centenary gathering on January 12, 1930
