Williamson's production "The Dubarry," in which tho London comic opera artist Miss Sylvia Welling and a supporting company of just on 100 people will appear at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday night next. For two years Miss Welling played the part of Margot in tho English production of "Tho Desert Song." A chance of real importance in London canto in "The Dubarry" at His Majesty's Theatre, Haymarkot, in which Miss Welling succeeded Anny Aiders, tho young German prima donna who died tinder tragic circumstances. Miss Welling received much publicity as tho English girl who was gallantly carrying on with great success in a part that it had hitherto been thought only an international star could undertake. Tho company includes the young actor and singer, Mr. .John Dudley, the ./popular character comedians Mr. Cecil Kellawav and Mr. Leslie Holland, Miss Ivy Kirby, an ontsandingly clever dancer, Richard Parry, Jean Duncan, Lorna Forbes, Lou Vernon, I?oyce Milton and Douglas Herald. Tho beauty of colour has been exploited to the full in "Tho Dubarry " Tito period dresses and uniforms, ioo, are said to be magnificent. The company includes a full grand opera chorus and a talented ballet. There is. also an orchestra of 25 players. During the season-"Waltzes from Vienna" will also be produced.
