COMPANY TAXATION

Sir, —I would like to know why the Government taxes the Gas Company so highly and lets the Electric-Power Hoard go free. Why is the Government so unjust? I, as a shareholder, get very little for the money 1 have invested. It is quite time the Government woke up to this most unjust and iniquitous tax on one company and letting the other concern go free. The Government to be fair and just should relieve the Gas Company and divide the tax with the Electric-Power Board. One Who Wants to Know.
