Following were the best scores (possible 70):—' W. Currie, 63; W. Bates. 07; K. Price, T. Middieton, B. McGrary, 06; H. Montague, 65;' R. Henderson, J. McAlees. 64: T. Louden, <T. Martin, 63; E. C Adolph, .T, Lindsay. 62: F. Shuter. 60; Miss West, 58. The shoot-off. for tho tie for third off the rifle in the second series resulted;—H. Montague, 67; McAlecs, 61. MATCH AT WHANGAREI [from OUR O'VTK correspondent] WHANGAREI. Thursday The Whangarei Miniature Rifle Club held a shoot last night for the Executive Cup. The event resulted in a tie between W. Norris and S. C. Wells, who both shot the possible off the rifle. In a re-shoot, Norns, 99. defeated Wells, 98, and won the trophy. The following are the scoresW. Norm. 100, scr—loo; S. C.
