EGGS AGAIN CHEAPER OTHER PRICES STEADY Tho price of eggs continues to fall, and both hen and duck eggs are being sold at Is Id a dozen, a decrease of Id during 4;ho week. Otherwise tho retail market for foodstuffs remains very steady, and few changes have occurred. There is still a strong demand for celerv, and this has forced the price for good qualities as high as lOd a head. Flounder, hapuku and whitebait remain scarce, but most other varieties of fish are in fair supply. Values are unchanged.
