FIRE IN CASTLE
STAFF SAVES VALUABLES ULSTER GOVERNOR'S HOME British Wireless RUGBY, August 1 Hillsborough Castle, near Belfast, the official residence of the Duke of Abercorn, Governor of Northern Ireland, was seripusly damaged by fire to-day. The Duke and Duchess were absent. The castle staff, foreman and villagers were able to save most of the valuables, including a Van Dyck valued at £IO,OOO, which was carried to safety in a wheelbarrow.
