SUPERIOR'S GOOD PROGRESS ORAPAI AND LEO COLOSSUS [from our own correspondent] NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday Although slightly on the heavy side, the tracks at New Plymouth were in good order this morning. General Quex surprised by beating Headmistress by three lengths over half a mile in 53a. He began smartly and led all the way. General.Quex was stretching out in great style at the finish and carried out his task in a manner that suggests that he may be coming good.
