DOMINION VISIT PROBABLE INVITATION EXTENDED [by telegraph —OWN correspondent] WELLINGTON, Wednesday As the result of the efforts of % prominent New Zealand golfer now in England it is believed that there are good prospects of the British team of amateur golfers, which will visit Melbourne in November, being induced to play a series of matches in New Zealand. When the preliminary suggestion was. taken up by the New Zealand Golf Council it found great enthusiasm among clubs with it got into touch, mainly in the North. Island. Consequently an invitation has been officially extended to the British players. ____________
