NORTHCOTE HIGH SCHOOL
AGRICULTURE CLASS SOUGHT Tho instructor in agriculture for the* Auckland Education Board, Mr. W. Hudson, visited the Northcoto District High School yesterday and conferred with members of tho committee regarding tho application for an agricultural class at the school. Tho area for plots at the school was inspected, and tho chairman, Mr. H. Shaw, stated that ground in close proximity would bo available for, ploughing, and access would bo given to land devoted to raising sheep and fruit. The headmaster, Mr. W. J. Wernham, said it was possible to add an agricultural course if lie had anothor assistant. Mr. Hudson pointed out that to secure anothor teacher an average attendance of 120 was necessary, against 96 now.
