PLEASED TOURISTS

AMERICAN TEACHERS DOMINION'S ATTRACTIONS "ALL COMING BACK AGAIN" At least five young Americans thoroughly approve of New Zealand and Sew Zealanders. They are residents of Honolulu, four of them school teachers and one a nurse, who are at present making a hurried 16-day tour of the Dominion. Each wishes it was longer. "What we will be able to tell the folks when we get back!" tlicy exclaimed, when interviewed by a reporter of the Christchurch Press. "You have a lovely country. It has all been much better than we expected." The members of the party are Mrs. C. D. Hood, Mrs. Myrtle Andrus, Misses E. and H. .Hermanson, who are school teachers in Honolulu, and Miss Mabel vforddn, who is a nurse. They liaVe visited the thermal regions around Rocorua and have completed a-trip to the West Coast of the South Island. They are taking their departure from the Dominion from Auckland. The reporter remarked that the visitors were wasting little time. "I'll say we're not," Miss Gordon agreed. "We all wish we could stay here longer, but our tour was planned beforehand and we have to keep to it. Some of us are going straight back to Honolulu from Auckland and the rest are going to spend a fortnight in Australia. But we are all coming back to New Zealand next year if we can."

Three of the party were born in Honolulu and tho other two in the United States. "These girls had never seen snow before they came here," said Miss Gordon, pointing to the Misses Hermanson. They admitted that they had not and said the mountains had been among the interesting sights of their tour. "The train trip through the mountains to-day was marvellous," they exclaimed in chorus Another sight which impressed the party was tho geyser district round Kotorua. None of them had seen the Yellowstone Park in the United States, but each was convinced that Rotorua must be far more impressive and exciting. "It was the greatest thrill I've ever had," said the younger Miss Hermanson.
