CLUE TO ROBBERY
MOTOR-CAR FOUND RECENT SYDNEY CRIME SYDNEY. July 5 Tko finding of the blood-stained motor-ear in the suburb of St. Peter's, which was used on June 2G by a bandit who held up a Public Works pay car containing three officials, one of whom was armed, and secured a sum of £I3OO, has narrowed down the field of investigations for the detectives who are seeking the perpetrators of the robbery. The attack took place in broacj daylight in Barrack Street, and it was stated that the armed escort fired a shot through the back of the robber's car, and that- the thief or his confederate, who was driving the car, was believed to have been wounded in the noee.
