OLD BOYS' REUNION

KING'S COLLEGE BALL A SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION One of the festivities connected with the annual reunion of the King's College Old Boys' Association was the ball given last evening in the Peter Pan Cabaret by the president and executive. Particularly attractive decorations had been carried out by members of the committee who were responsible for the success of the evening The dance floor was outlined with loops of balloons in maroon and gold, the .colours of the college, while the pillars in the centre of the floor and the entire ceiling of the cabaret were covered in a canopy effect with streamers in these shades. Masses of acacia blossom were placed in tubs at each corner of the cabaret, and bowls of Iceland poppies completed the colour scheme on the tables. The badge of the old boys was suspended over the orchestral dais, which was also outlined with streamers in gold and maroon. Special alcoves had been set aside for representatives of kindred schools, each being decorated with the colour of the particular school. Novelties in the form of caps smd balloons were distributed to the guests during the evening. Excellent music was supplied by the cabaret band, a maypole dance, in which the guests participated, proving a popular item. During the evening a tap dance was given by Miss Natalie Strattou, Mr. Mathew Stratton and Mr. JackWalton, who were dressed in the uniforms of the college. An exhibition of modern ballroom dancing, given by Miss Mabel Johnson and Mr. J. Hutchinson, was equally enjoyed. . . On arrival the guests were received by Mr. C. T.
