SNOOKER BALLS STOLEN
MAN GRANTED PROBATION Appearing for sentence in the Police Court yesterday on a charge of stealing seven snooker balls valued at £7, the property of William Paull, on July 3, James Benson, aged 30, labourer, was grantee! 12 months' probation by Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., on condition that he took out a prohibition order. Mr. Isoble, for accused, had stated that accused had a clean record. He was drunk at the time the incident occurred.
