AUSTRALIAN RECOVERY
SECONDARY INDUSTRIES AMPLE SIGNS OF ADVANCE CANBERRA. May 21 The Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, in a statement emphasising the remarkable recovery made by Australia sinco his Government took office in December, 1931, said that the Commonwealth would probably have to rely on wool and metals for a time for buoyancy in returns from oversea trade. There were, however, signs on every hand of advances in secondary production, and of more active movement of invest' jaient funds.
