INJURIES TO PLAYERS Complaints regarding injuries to players through illegal sprigs on boots were received at a meeting of the Auckland Rugby Referees' Association last evening.' Mr. J. G. C. Wales , presided over _ an attendance of 54 members. It was decided to inspect all boots before games commence next Saturday. A referee will attend the North Shore shed by request to discuss rules with players. The Methodist Young Men's Bible Class Union asked for referees to control /toumamfent. ; games on June 4. Sufficient !members. were appointed. : . The marked similarity of club colours, 'especially on- Eden Park No. 1, was discussed. It was decided to request the Rugby Unibn to provide two sets of distinctly colfoui'ed jerseys to be used on No. 1 ground when the club colours are likely to lea'd to confusion. Mr. T. J. Burnand. of the Otago (Referees' Association, was welcomed to the meeting, being accepted as a member on transfer.
