STRONG BRITISH PROTEST STATESMEN DISCREDITED GENEVA, May 18 The British Lord Privy Seal. Mr. Anthony Eden, in a very strong speech on the slavery situation in Liberia, condemned as appalling the example of misgovernment which had not relieved the tragedy and had discredited her statesmen. 'lhe League would be justified in considering Liberia's expulsion, but that would not assist toward a solution. It would be better if _ the Lnited States were approached with a view to concerted action being taken to end tho present unhappy state ot affairs.
