CONFERENCE IN NORTH PROPOSED SHOW DATES £by telegraph—OWN correspondent] ' • WHANGAREI, Saturday The annual conference of North 'Auckland agricultural and pastoral association was hold yesterday, Mr. H. E. Finlayson presiding. Mr. T. J. Griffin was ejected president for the coming year. Considerable discussion arose on the question of show dates for submission to the annual conference of the Auckland Provincial Council next Wednesday. The following dates were agreed upon:—Bay of Islands, November 15; Broadwood, January 29; Upper Wairoa, January 29; Kawakawa, February *2; Hukerenui, February 7; Rodney, February 9; North Kaipara, February 13; Towai, February 14; Northern Waixoa, February 20; Kaikohe, February 23; Waipu. February 23; Mangonui, March 2; Wellsford, March 6; Waiotira,/; March 7; Whangarei, March 13 and 14. It was decided to request the Auckland Association to amend the date of j its sho,w to March 22 and 23, in order to give North Auckland exhibitors an •opportunity of exhibiting at the conclusion of all Northern shows. The Conference decided to support a Morrinsville remit to exclude table and dart games from all shows. Mr. W. Montgomery (Northern Wairoa) was appointed delegate to the Auckland provincial conference. It was decided to offer the North Auckland championship for this year to the Whangarei Association.
