HAMILTON DENTAL CLINIC

REDUCTION MADE IN FEES ELECTION OF OFFICERS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Saturday A reduction in fees for the forthcoming year was announced at the annual meeting of the Hamilton Schools' Dental Clinics Committee. It was reported by the chairman, Mr. H. M. Baker, that 879 children had been treated last year, compared with 1048 in the previous year. In order that more children would be able to pay fees it had been decided to reduce the charge from 3s 6d to 2s 6d per child. Practically all the eligible schools in the district were associated with the clinic. A loss of about £lO on the year's activities was disclosed by the statement of accounts.

The election of officers resulted as follows:—Chairman, Mr. H. M. Baker; secretary, Mr. H. W. Fisher; executive, Messrs. N. J. Holden, D. C. Street and J. Graham.
