RIFLE SHOOTING
WHANGAREI DEFENCE CLUB [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI. Monday The Whangarei Defence Rifle Club held a shoot during the week-end in connection with the rose bowl series. The Hill trophy for the top score of the day was won by S. E. Foot. Weather conditions were showery. The following ore the results:—S. E. Foot, 34 at 200 yds. 40 at 300 yds. handicap 20. total 94: C.
