DROP WITH PARACHUTE

WIDOW AT BROOKLANDS FIRST QUALIFYING TEST LONDON", May 4 A tiny white-clad figure dropped from an aeroplane with a parachute above Brooklauds aerodrome to-day and made a perfect landing. It was Mrs. Alington, aged 54, a widow, and the mother of six sons, of whom three are private air pilots. This was the first of three descents to qualify her for lier certificate as a parachutist.
