PARISHIONERS' MEETING
Kaitaia Anglican church [FROJI OUU OWN COlUfKSl'ONnivN'r] KAITAIA, Saturday In spite of inclement weather there Was a fair gathering at the annual Weeting of parishioners of the Kaitaia Parish. The various reports received showed that the work of the parish had heen well conducted, and tho finances were on a sound footing, the year closing with a credit balance.

A suggestion was put forward that two oak or other suitable trees bo Planted in tho churchyard by the oldj surviving descendants of tho Rev. Joseph Matthews and Mr. William Gil--sp't Puekey, the pioneer missionaries Who founded the mission station, the .wees to mark the centenary y ear.
