"I WAS A GERMAN"
By Hcrr Ernst Toller, " I Was a German," is a book from tho pen of a Jew now in exile from the Germany for which he fought for three years. He is known in England by his plays. In this autobiography ho tells how 110 served at tho front, then turned Pacifist, and afterwards (at the Revolution of 1918), was elected Deputy President of the Bavarian Free State. His language is moderate, but his condemnation of the present regime is thorough and severe.
