CHILLED BEEF SUCCESS
THIRD SHIPMENT ARRIVES SATISFACTORY IN EVERY WAY The arrival of the third shipment of chilled beef from New Zealand at the London Docks yesterday by the Blue Star motor-liner Tuscan Star was announced in a eable_ received last evening by W. and R. Fletcher, New Zealand, Limited. The message, which was from the London agents, stated that the shipment of 2280 quarters of chilled beef from West field had arrived rn excellent condition and was in every way satisfactory. The first shipment of chilled beef was carried by the Sultan Star, which left Auckland on January >2 with 1308 quarters The Avelona Star was next despatched on February 3 with 2151 quarters and the Tuscan Star left Auckland on March 13 with 2280 quarters. In each case the meat has reached the market in excellent condition. A fourth shipment of 1300 quarters of chilled beef was despatched by the Doric Star, which left Auckland on March 31. Other consignments will follow by the Sultan Star and the Trojan Star.
