WAIUKU PLUNKET SOCIETY

f At- the annual meeting of the Waiuku Plunket Society the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs. James {reelected—third term); secretary, Mrs. Madill (re-elected); treasurer, Mrs. Munro (re-elected); committee, Mesdames Anderson, Brake, Connolly, Eastick, McKenzie. Amies, Makgill, Finnis, Mayhead, O. Henry, B. Henry, McElwain, and Miss Duthie. Mr. 0. Henry and Mr. J. McQuire were elected members of the advisory board. The secretary read the nurse's reports, which showed that during the year 50 visits had been made to the Waiuku rooms, and a total of 2310 visits to the nurse had been paid by mothers and babies. This is an increase of 266 visits over the previous year. The health of all the babies was very good.
