MASSEY COLLEGE
INCREASE: IN ENROLMENTS FIVE WOMEN STUDENTS The enrolments at Massey Agricultural College at present total 151, compared with 120 for the corresponding term of last year. There are five women students this year. "From all appearances tho total enrolments for tho year, which we shall noli know until the students for the dairy diploma and wool classing courses have completed enrolment, will be greater than last year (235), thus maintaining the unbroken sequence of annual increases in total enrolment." said the principal, Professor G. S. Peren, at a meeting of the college council last week. "There has been a decrease in thp numbers for the first year of the sheep and dairy farming courses, which, 1 think, may largely be put down to the raising of the age limit and to the practice which we have adopted of advising would-be students to obtain a season's experience on a farm before coming to tho college.
