I 'King Solomon (Goro). —Three days work, 740z. 4dwt. GOLDFIELDS DREDGE The Gold fields Dredging Company, Limited (Shot-over), reports that the dredge is making good headway toward the uppor gorge. There was no wash-up this week. MINING ,AJ WAIKAIA Interest in mining activities in the Waikaia district, Southland, has been maintained and several applications for prospecting licences have been filed. A geophysical survey of the,area is.being carried out by the Department of Industrial and Scientific Research. n
