POLO TOURNAMENT
PROVINCIAL CUP FINAL VICTORY FOR. TE AWAMUTU [from OUR own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Friday Final stages were reached to-day in two lections at the. urftiual tournament of the Auckland Provincial Association at Cambridge. Displaying a surprisingly reversal of foim Malamata B (J. Elliott, P. Tbirlwnll, F. Maisey. L. Moore) defeated Matamata A (C. Morgan. E. Johnson, A. McNicol, F. Klaus) by five goals to three in the final of the Junior Cup! The final of the Provincial Cup, between Cambridge A (G. Vosper, R. Peake, R. Nolan and A. Firher) and Te Awamutu (A. Kay, R. Kay, Len Kay, Lyell Kay), resulted in a win foj Te Awamutu by 6 goals to 3. For Te Awanlutu Alan Kay, R. Kay 3, L. Kay and Lon Kay, were the scorers. Vosper scored all goals for Cambridge. A special match for a set of association sticks between Matangi A and B resulted in a win for Mutungi B by i goals to 2.
