HUNTLY METHODISTS
[from our own cohrkSponuknt] TAL'PIRI, Monday The Huntly Methodist Circuit meeting nns presided over bv the Hcv. J. H. Hasl am, of Frankton. It was reported that the membership roll for the quarter stood at 190, of whom 121) Were adults. The deficit as shown on the balance-sheet had been redticed. The meeting congratulated Mr, Hajlam, the Superintendent minister of the circuit, oti his being chosen as president-elect ol' the Methodist Conference. Mr. F. C. D*y was elected circuit Steward in place of Mr. T. A. Otfenhftm, who had resigned. Mr. 8. (i. Silvester was appointed foreign mission secretary. Expressions of goodwill were extended to the Bov. J. W. Parker, who will shortly leave {lie circuit to take up his duties at jliverioii.
