MOTORING ACCIDENT
LORRY STRIKES A TREE FOUR PEOPLE BADLY HURT MELBOURNE PICNIC PARTY (Received April 2, 10.25 p.m.) MELBOURNE. April 2 A motor-lorry carrying a picnic party of 26 people to-day crashed into a tree near Warrandyte, about 18 miles east of Melbourne. Four of the passengers were seriously injured, and 14 others were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
