BRANCH ACTIVITIES Reports of branches of the League of Mothers aro as follows: Newton East. —An address upon first aid and a demonstration of bandaging was given by Mrs. Cammell, of the St. John Ambulance Association at a recent meeting. Mrs. .Irwin sang and tea- was served by the committee. Tc Atatu. —A paper on "Is it a Crime to be 111?" was read at the March meeting. Mrs. lllingworth presided and a new member was welcomed. Mount Roskill. —An address upon league work was given b.v Mrs. S. 0. English, who also stressed tho importance of home influence and the sanctity of marriage. . Mount. Albert. —Mrs. Turner presided. Five new members were received with a. short ceremony, and an address was given on "Just.One Word—-Mother."
