Taranaki retaining the trophy by an innings and 75 runs. Southern Hawke's Bay scored 03 in the first innings and fared little better in the second, being all out for 86. G. In the match against Canterbury, Otago scored 81 and 78. Canterbury scored 172, and won by an innings and 13 runs. Southland made 90 and eight for IG4 {declared) in the match against Of ago. Otago scored 09 in the first innings and 47 in tho second. Southland won by 138 runs. A conference of delegates from all provincial centres is to bo held at Oamaru on May 6 for .the purpose of discussing the formation of a New Zealand Women's Cricket Council. '
