ALLEGED SHOP THEFTS
TWO SUSPECTS IN COURT Two young men, Frederick Louis Marry a ft, aged 25, farm hand, and George Stanley, aged 21, labourer, appeared in the Police Court on Saturday, before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., each charged with breaking and entering by night the shop of F. A. Collins, at 159 Mount Eden Road, and stealing cigarettes, tobacco, matches and 6d in monov, the stolen goods being valued at £\ .'is. On the application of Senior-Detective Hall, both accused were remanded until April 12. CASE AT HUNTLY A MAORI REMANDED [BV TEI.KGRAPH —OWN CORR.KSPON DENT ] HUNTLY. Saturday A Maori employed at a Public Works camp at Orini, Whare Mikaere, was charged at the Huntly Police Court today before Mr. E. J. Farrell, J.P., with breaking and entering, and with the theft of goods valued at ,C 1! 3* and 16s in money from a. shop owned by Mr. D. W. Thompson, of 'IV Hoe. Accused was remanded until April 10.
