Teams are competing from Masterton, Grey mouth. Dunedin, Chiistehurch, Uamaru, Timaru and Waiinate. The visiting delegates number about 70 and they were welcomed this afternoon by the parish priest. Father J. Herbert., Mr. X. L. Kivell. president of the local executive, and the Mayor, Mr. C. Dash. Tennis and billiards matches were also played to-day. There will be oratory contests to-morrow and discussion of religious questions on Monday.
