March 30 It is reported in official circles that the forthcoming Premiers' Conference at Canberra will discuss a. proposal for Commonwea 1 th-wirle control of primary industries and restriction of over-pro-duction. ... . . It 5s believed that the plan will follow the lines of the agricultural adjustmenfc administration in the ni e Staten, and will be dependent upon an Empire agreement, under which producer!; will undertake so to restrict specified primary industries as to bring about a properly-balanced scheme of Empire production. The Empire thus would work as one economic; unit.
