EMIL JANNINGS FILM

PRODUCTION IN ENGLAND Final arrangements have now been completed lor Find Jannings to make his first film in England. A new organisation, British and Continental Film Productions, Limited, was to begin work on the picture on March 26 probably at Elstree. The action of the new picture, a /dramatic romance, will take placo partly in England and partly in France. The story has been written by M. Yves Mirande, the French dramatist, and two versions will be made, one in English and one in French, with entirely separate casts. Mr. Jannings appears in the English one, for which Mr. Guy Bolton (author of " The Love Parade " and " Waltzes from Vienna ") is responsible. For the leading lady wo are promised a new " discovery," described as " a young lady who has lived over hero and lias been well known, but not in film circles."
