Needless to say; it was not misadventure which was the cause of death, but who was the murderer/' This is the mystery which .June Forrester, cousin of the murdered man, and Professor lazard set out to solve. Danger ami distrust surround them on all sides in tibeir efforts of discovering tho murderer, but doggedly they stick to their unpleasant task until success in the end rewards them. These two ihar.i-'-ters are particularly delightful and contribute largely to* the success of this interesting novel with its totally unexpected denouement.
