WILD-CAT MENACE

Wild cats are becoming a menace in the Highlands and in the Ardnamurchan district of Argyllshire, and sheep farmers are organising armed parties to exterminate them.

With the approach ol the lambing season they fear serious ravaging of the flocks. Raids 011 poultry stock by wild cats are of daily occurrence, and they are so wild and daring they even attack human beings on the slightest provocation.
