CANDIDATES CHOSEN HAMILTON CHURCH CAMPAIGN [from our own- correspondent] HAMILTON". Friday Five queens have been announced in connection with the queen carnival launched by Bishop C'herrington in connection with a scheme to raise funds to relieve the Hamilton and Frankton parishes of debt burdens on church properties. The queens are Misses Betty Manning (Cathedral), Mabel Innes (Cathedral, Business), Dulcie Griffiths (Hamilton East), Joy Peach (Country) pnd May Oliver (Cathedral Choir). A queen to represent Frankton is expected to be selected shortly.
