LONG SERVICE RECORDS

EMPLOYEES OF THE HERALD RETIREMENT ON PENSION Three employees of Wilson and Horton, Limited, will retire to-day on the completion of long terms of continuous service. Mr. W. Davison, who joined the office staff in 1886, has 'a record of over 47 years in the commercial and advertising departments of the New Zealand Herald and the Auckland Weekly News. Mr. D. R. Salmon entered composing department in 1887, and has for many years been employed in the - newsroom. Mr. K. Rowe, J.P., has served for over 33 years on the commercial staff. They will retire on pensions provided from the fund established by the company a few years ago for the benefit of its long-service employees.
